Hello! I’m Shouri, I’m a graphic designer & illustrator, and I looove comics. Right now I’m working on two which I’m publishing online (webcomics!):
Four friends embark on their final year of school. Jess & Karen can’t wait to start their musical career, and Steph has a promising future in fashion & design. Marian, on the other hand, can barely decide what she’ll have for breakfast. And suddenly, a new girl arrives in town, who will change the way they see the world. Can a single photograph awaken Marian’s own dream in life? A journey in self-discovery awaits, not only Marian, but all her friends as well. Updates twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday.

This vertical four panel (known as Yon-koma) comic tells the stories of Chop Chop Ninja Doom, the ninja with an unhealthy obsession with potato chips, & Chocobanana Sofuto, the former olympic swimmer who is obsessed with cleaning. Together with their pets, Boo & Sushi, they’ll spread love all over the world!

My style is highly influenced by shoujo artists (Takeuchi and Tanemura) and local argentinian comickers (Quino and Vogt). I love cute, and I hope it reflects on my work! I also love to color… you can see more work on this tumblr or my portfolio.
Besides my own projects, I’ve also collaborated on Womanthology (colors. If there’s a second volume, I’d love to draw this time!), done inks on Archie, and also collaborate on the Pixie Trix webcomics, such as Eerie Cuties and Magick Chicks, doing inks, colors & finishes, and sometimes web.
